You might think the life of a cat is all tummy rubs and catnip. C'est un mythe. Well, d'accord, it actually is all that (at least around here - we've shaped up the people pretty well) but one soon finds oneself growing tired with such low-brow past-times. The mind is in need of stimulation; the spirit ossifies when presented with only television and ever-the-same cat food. Even harassing the dog next door loses its attraction after a short while.

Nous désirons quelque chose... meaningful in this universe of consumption and machinery, of mock Sturm und Drang, of connectionless being papered over with marketing psychometrics. Help shape a manifesto to rescue the world in this new century and millenium; help us all reach towards a long-lived cultural heterosis; pause from your comparison internet shopping to consider what could be achieved if we would divest ourselves of Rhett Butler's cold shoulder; vote for something ethical for a change.

Now, time for a bon-bon.

(also, help us learn to spell "millennium", among other things.)
